Having walked through the orchard, entered the imposing entrance to the bar area and into the medieval dining room, with real log fires, dark oak beamed ceilings and paned windows you know this is a place with a special ambience steeped in local history. There is nowhere in North Yorkshire more romantic as a place to marry, whether a civil partnership, a small private ceremony or reception or a larger marquee event for over 100 guests. We only undertake one wedding on any day, whether large or small so you will have exclusive use of this superb historic country house and immediate grounds.
